HOLIDAY
We have many seasonal specialties available for purchase throughout December.
German Christmas Cookies
We make a variety of traditional German cookies for the holidays including Lebkuchen, Springerle, Pfeffernüsse and Stollen. You won't find better handmade cookies anywhere! Each of our eight varieties of cookie is available by the dozen; mixed dozens are also available. Stollen are available as 1LB or 2LB loaves.
Check out our Springerle cookie making demonstrations! At 3:00 p.m. each day that the Christmas market is open, we will show you how to make these exquisite cookies! The demonstration is free and open to the public.

St. Nicholas Day
Our Soles4Souls kids’ shoe drive begins!
The tradition says that if you put your shoes out at night, St. Nicholas will leave treats for the good little girls and boys. We are asking you to bring new or gently used children’s shoes to the restaurant for a Soles4Souls shoe drive. The shoes will be donated to the Harriet Tubman women’s shelter and you will get a treat for being good! Can't make it on December 6? Shoe drive will continue all month.

Tonight we are holding a benefit for our neighbor, Washburn Center for Children! In honor of Marcy Tollefson, who is retiring from Washburn after 27 years, we are donating 25% of our food sales all day today to Washburn Center for Children. With over 125 years as a non-profit agency serving children and families in Minnesota, Washburn Center for Children is the leader in helping children with social, emotional and behavioral mental health problems and their families. All of their services are designed to develop skills, resolve problems and connect with resources to help the child be more successful at home, in school and in the community. Join us and help support the important work that Washburn does for Minnesota families!
